Junior Credit Analyst
We are seeking a Junior Credit Research Analyst to work in our Newport Beach office. Credit Research Analysts analyze various industries and the companies within them and make investment recommendations to PIMCO’s portfolio managers group. They also provide analytical support for the firm’s portfolio managers by highlighting risks and making investment recommendations on specific companies. Credit analysts at PIMCO specialize in a number of industries and cover all levels of the debt capital structure - investment grade bonds, high yield (“junk”) bonds, bank debt and convertibles.
The junior analyst’s role would be to support one or two Senior Credit Analysts in covering a variety of industries. Job responsibilities would include creating and maintaining historical and projected financial models of companies, constructing relative value tables, along with reviewing company earnings and news releases. Overall, our selected candidate will generally help to analyze companies being considered for investment.
