Before you go out into the working world, be sure that your reputation as a party animal is erased from the Internet! Google yourself and see if your email address turns up on controversial message boards that you’ve long forgotten about posting on. Also remove the website dedicated to your favorite porn star and take down those social networking pages.

Along the employment journey, try to avoid gossiping about colleagues, vendors and bosses. By maintaining neutral relationships with all of your coworkers, you’ll avoid people who may want to sabotage your career climb. Also, it will be easier to obtain good references when you leave the company. By keeping yourself above the fray, you’re maintaining high integrit, which is good for feng shui. Becoming famous for your integrity is the sign of a true leader.
