Career Question of the Day

CQ#14: I'm worried about losing my job. How can I get to sleep at night?

Quick Answer:

According to the National Sleep Foundation, it’s estimated that approximately 70 million Americans are affected by insomnia. The pharmaceutical companies have found a goldmine here: Sales of sleep medication are going through the roof. But for those who don’t go to pills except as a last resort, there are some simple lifestyle adjustments that, either singly or together, may help to some degree. Avoid caffeine, alcohol and sugar. Don't watch TV and don't do anything financial that might be stressful. Things that generally help are: exercise, yoga poses and breathing, chamomile tea, ear plugs and reading something boring.
